The Three Elements series explores the fundamental forces of nature - the sun, water, and earth.
The forms are rooted in the language of traditional ornament, which historically reflected human perceptions of natural phenomena and the structure of the world. The ornament is translated from a flat surface into volume, becoming the very construction of the object. Lines and rhythms shape the mirror’s structure, transforming a decorative motif into a spatial form.
Each piece is dedicated to one of the elements: the sun as a source of light and energy, water as a symbol of movement and life, and earth as the material foundation of existence. Within these objects, the mirror becomes a point of interaction between the viewer and the symbolic language of nature. The reflection incorporates the viewer into the structure of the form, making them part of the composition.
